Award-winning architect Richard Keating’s landmark modernist home is organized around the simple idea of family living enjoying both inside and outside spaces that can be made to seem as one — with extensive landscape of pre-existing redwoods, oaks, camellias and azaleas blended with substantial new gardens of nandinas, lavenders, plum trees, rosemary and wistrengia. In the light-filled living room, surrounded by glass walls and travertine flooring, an award-winning trio performs Haydn’s ebullient Trio No. 28, Dvorak’s beloved “Dumky” Trio (No. 4 in e) and Schoenfeld’s rollicking Café Music. An afternoon of exuberance in site and sound! Young in years, the trio burst onto the international music scene as the youngest ensemble ever to medal at the Fischoff Competition (2016), followed by their inaugural European tour which included a debut at Amsterdam’s legendary Royal Concertgebouw.
